In the heart of the Conero Natural Park, where modern architecture meets unspoiled nature, stands Casacon – a hotel whose very name evokes the idea of a welcoming and inclusive space (“Casa” + “Con”). This unique gem on the Adriatic coast, nestled in the lush greenery of the Conero Riviera in the Marche region, perfectly blends comfort, design, and landscape.
Within this setting of outstanding natural beauty, the KE Gennius Vega pergola integrates seamlessly into the architecture.
Designed by KE using the Gennius Vega system, the pergola has been installed in a strategic area of the complex, anchored to an exposed stone wall. This structural choice, which echoes the materials of local tradition, creates an aesthetic harmony that respects the historical and landscape identity of the Conero Park.
The installation covers an area of 70 m², with a total height of 2.5 meters. This architectural solution connects the pergola with its surroundings, creating visual and functional continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Gennius Vega design stands out for its essential and refined aesthetic: clean lines highlight the lightness of corten steel, selected for its ability to blend chromatically with the natural tones of the area. The corten’s typical reddish-brown shades harmonize beautifully with the earth colors and limestone cliffs of the Conero landscape.
Equipped with Cristal PVC perimeter screens, the KE pergola can be used even in rainy, windy, or cold weather. It becomes a true extension of the hotel – a space where indoors and outdoors merge, offering a unique and dynamic perspective of the landscape.
In the evening, thanks to an integrated LED lighting system that follows the outer profiles of the structure, the pergola transforms into a convivial gathering space. The discreet yet effective lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for open-air dinners, private events, or simply for enjoying a relaxing moment under the stars. The soft illumination blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings, ensuring a balanced visual experience without disturbing the beauty of the landscape.
The project created by KE for Casacon is a prime example of sustainable architecture that respects the landscape while perfectly merging contemporary design with nature.
