An exclusive residential area in Ponteranica, on the hills of Bergamo, was the appropriate setting chosen to create some new detached villas with a low environmental impact – following the “green building” criteria.
The owners contacted KE STORE Boutique della Tenda in Grassobbio (Bergamo, Italy) to develop an outdoor project in line with the building’s essential style and with the modern lines of the façade, which is covered in aluminium, wood-coloured slats.
The designers of Boutique della Tenda suggested two of the most innovative solutions among the wide range of solar screens offered by KE: Gennius Vega pergola awning and two Qubica Plumb cassette awnings.
Gennius Vega is a pergola awning which can be lived all year round, thanks also to the front Vertika roller awning, which creates a sheltered space even in case of bad weather.
The original use of light, which becomes a real furnishing element, makes Gennius Vega unique. The external lighting gives value to its appealing design, while the light points added on the inside give lightness to the structure and to its aluminium profiles.
Qubica Plumb is a cassette arm awning born from an idea of Arch. Robby Cantarutti. It has the advantage of integrating seamlessly into the pre-existing architecture, being an element with minimum impact – elegant and compact even when closed.
Its square cassette blends perfectly with the villa’s architectural lines and, at the same time, it protects the fabric from wearing and bad weather.
The LED lighting of Gennius Vega and Qubica Plumb creates a suggestive atmosphere and allows the owner to use the garden also in the evening, for aperitifs and al fresco dinners.
Thanks to Somfy’s Connexoon Terrace home control device, the customer can manage the three shading structures remotely with a simple App.
