Just a few steps from the Jesolo seafront and the city’s famous summer shopping street, Pasticceria delle Rose—a historic local institution since 1966—has embarked on an ambitious project to renew its outdoor space. The goal was clear: to transform the terrace into an area usable all year round, preserving the venue’s timeless elegance while enhancing hospitality and comfort for its guests. The transformation was entrusted to the KE Contract division, which perfectly interpreted the client’s vision.
To meet the project’s requirements, the Isola 3 pergola with retractable roof from KE was chosen. This model stands out for its refined aesthetics and clean lines, blending seamlessly into any architectural context.
The chosen Carbon Ruvido color for the structure harmonizes perfectly with the venue’s visual identity. Covering an area of about 60 m², the pergola was designed not only to provide protection from the elements but also to extend the pastry shop’s seating capacity, creating visual and functional continuity between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The arched roof of Isola 3 offers optimal protection and can be managed through automation systems, allowing it to open or close depending on weather conditions. This flexibility ensures a pleasant atmosphere year-round, regardless of sun, rain, or wind.
To guarantee maximum protection and allow the terrace to be used even on colder or windier days, the pergola was complemented by a state-of-the-art enclosure system. The panoramic Line Glass windows create a striking “all-glass” effect, offering an unobstructed view of the surroundings. This sliding rail system, without perimeter profiles, provides wind and noise protection while enhancing brightness and maintaining a constant visual connection with the outside environment. Completing the configuration are Vertika Prime vertical screens, which provide additional sun protection and privacy, and two Antalia awnings in an adjacent outdoor area, creating strategically shaded zones.
The true strength of this project lies in its most innovative element—an invisible yet essential feature for guest comfort: the MORE technical column for controlled mechanical ventilation (VMC). Integrated within the pergola, this advanced solution helps prevent condensation and keeps the air clean and constantly refreshed. Thanks to the built-in heat recovery unit, outdoor air is filtered and temperature-balanced before entering the space, ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment in every season.
This technological detail, seamlessly integrated into the structure’s design, underscores KE’s commitment not only to aesthetics but also to the quality of the end-user experience.
