A panoramic and breathtaking terrace, capable of offering a spectacular view of Marbella, pearl of the Costa del Sol: a view enriched by the essential design and refined profile of KE products.
Next to the beach, surrounded by the characteristic Iberian landscape, stands the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina: the renowned course, inaugurated in 1959, boasts a history that tells of important challenges and national-level championships played on its field. Located in San Pedro de Alcantara, one of the most evocative areas of Marbella, the club offers a unique gaming experience, enriched by a landscape of rare beauty and the comfort and relax typical of a luxurious sports facility, where you can enjoy precious moments of sport and conviviality.
How can you make the most of such a characteristic location? The Owner addressed KE with the need to create a comfortable and stable roof for the terrace overlooking the green, a meeting place for members and guests. The need for protection was combined with the request to guarantee the possibility of enjoying the sun and the surrounding panorama.
The construction also had to be in line with the architecture of the club and integrate perfectly into the context, with a guarantee of thermal comfort and better use of the terrace space, all in a solution that is both versatile and elegant. Among the essential constraints: the absence of central columns in the roof, a real plus capable of creating a unique environment and a space without interruption of continuity.
KE, in collaboration with the retailer Cerramientos Tejero, completed a custom-made project successfully achieving all the set objectives. To meet all the design needs, the choice fell on the Isola 3 Gennius Pergola: a complete solar shielding system that perfectly combines elegance and design, flexibility and modularity. A choice that proved to be a winning one, considering the characteristics that distinguish the KE model and which are well suited to the context of the Malaga golf course.
The techno-fabric roof of Isola 3 guarantees greater solar shading, less condensation and a clear sensation of thermal comfort. A roof, which also allows to have larger dimensions in terms of projection, became an essential element in a project where there must be no intermediate columns in over 7.5 meters of length.
All perfect features for the terrace of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, also enhanced by the choice of the matt white colour, in a chromatic combination with the building and the context. A project enriched by internal perimeter lighting with LED strips and Flexilight fabric for the ceiling.
With this new construction in the South of Spain, a few steps from the splendid beaches of Marbella, KE once again confirms its expertise and “brings into play” ability, quality and rigor by suggesting tailor-made design solutions dedicated to ho.re.ca and residential orders.
