The owners of a modern, ground floor apartment in the new CityLife area of Milan wanted an attractive, high performance shade solution for their large garden.
They turned to KE STORE 3s Milano S.r.l., a well-known local resource for high-impact outdoor projects. The curved architectural lines of the apartment building required a simple, yet elegant design. The designers suggested the perfect solution — three QUBICA FLAT retractable patio awning in neutral white.
The KE QUBICA family of cassette awnings was born from an idea of designer Robby Cantarutti. Designed to blend perfectly into any modern architectural style, Qubica awnings have a compact profile that is sleek and beautiful in its simplicity, and nearly disappears when closed into its attractive, 2-tone cassette.
The neutral white shade of the awning fabric and the cassette blend wonderfully with the building’s facade, creating the perfect balance of visual impact and simple design.
QUBICA allow interior spaces to flow seamlessly into the outdoors, making the garden enjoyable, even on the sunniest days, while increasing privacy for residents. Home automation by Somfy provides remote management via a mobile app that can open and close the awning at pre-set times.
The CityLife project stands out for its beautiful results, having successfully enhanced the outdoor garden space, making it better than ever before. Residents can now enjoy this enchanted outdoor space any time of the day.
