Boca Raton sits on the southeastern coast of Florida well known for its golf courses and pristine beaches with temperatures ranging from mid 70s to low 90’s. Located on a luxuriously landscaped 1,100 acres in Palm Beach County, the Polo Club of Boca Raton, FL houses two of best golf courses in Florida, championship golf matches are played here including a nationally recognized tennis facility, and one of the best spas in the area. Nestled between their two premier golf courses is the Barefoot Café, outside dining at its best providing exquisite outdoor dining and live entertainment.
Originally the Barefoot Café had umbrellas protecting customers from sun and rain, customers were getting wet from the lack of coverage an umbrella provides. The owners of the Barefoot Café wanted the outdoor patio area covered for their patrons but did not want anything permanent that required minimal impact from the current architectural design at the Polo Club. A retractable roof was the solution allowing them to control the amount of Florida sunshine to let in, in addition, to allow the night sky to be fully enjoyed by everyone.
The final result was spectacular, 8 Isola 2 units surrounding the entire café providing 180˚ of coverage during too much sun and rain. The aesthetic lines of the Isola 2 truly complement the architectural design of the Polo Club enhancing the benefits of the Barefoot Café to its members.
